Philly Hockey Club training programs provide high levels of coaching for youth, adults, boy, and girls, from beginners to advanced, year-round.
Our programs are delivered by an experienced and knowledgable coaching staff, who are passionate about hockey and what it can give to our players.
Programs are delivered in a competitive, developmental and fun atmosphere which progresses our athletes to possess high levels of tactical knowledge and technical skills.
We look to develop the whole player to become self-analytical, self-motivating, self-reliant and selfless in their pursuit of achieving goals and aspirations within sport and life.
Attendance and Commitment:
We promote that players organize and schedule their time to attending training and competitions. Players are expected to take responsibility and show commitment towards training and competition. We understand that conflicts may arise from time to time, however it is the players responsibility to communicate conflicts in advance. If a player repeatedly misses training or competitions, or backs out of their commitments, they may see an impact to their playing time and even possibly their team placement.
Club Affiliation:
Philly Hockey Club mandates that all players have current USFHA memberships.
If you are affiliated with another club or are new to hockey, please ensure that you sign up at USAFH membership and affiliate with Philly Hockey Club prior to your first training session. If you are not affiliated or let your USAFH membership lapse, you will not be permitted to train or compete with the club. Being affiliated with USAFH allows you to compete at sanctioned events throughout the season, and gives access to newsletters, club insurance and other membership benefits. USAFH website for membership, click Here>>
Players affiliated with Philly Hockey Club cannot train or compete with another club without prior approval from the Club Director. We may on occasion allow a player to guest for other clubs. Anyone playing for two clubs in the same season, or tournaments without prior approval will be released from our club. If a player chooses to leave during the season they will be responsible for full program fees, no refunds will be applied.
